You know I thought I would never have children. They tend to change everything. Being a single mother or a parent is one the most difficult jobs in the world, yet so rewarding. I was 27 when I became pregnant for the first time. Some may say that's late, and actually, I agree, but I was living on my own, had a excellent job as a Guidance Counselor, lake front condo in Lake Wylie, SC, which is right outside of Charlotte, NC. I was seeing a guy that I had know for over 8 years and who would have ever thought that the moment I told him I was expecting, he would look at me, shake his head, turn around and walk out my door and who knew I would never see him again!!!!!!
